Delve into the hidden world of the insects that live around and with us. Using a garden or any accessible green space nearby as a starting point, participants will be given hands-on experience with insects and their importance to us, and be introduced to new ways at looking and interacting with the world around us.
You will:
• Understand the biology of insects and their importance to us through experiential learning with live specimens
• Understand basic ecology around common community spaces like gardens and parks
• Reflect on our own ‘ecology’ within society and how we can contribute to the conservation of our natural environment
About The Curious Pangolin:
The Curious Pangolin is focused on raising the awareness and understanding of insects and other terrestrial arthropods in Singapore and the region. We work with like-minded educators and agricultural professionals to promote insect biodiversity and its conservation. We believe that educating everyone about the beauty and importance of insects will promote meaningful relationships with insects for the betterment of society. Thus far, we have conducted numerous workshops with organisations and schools.
