Biography:
Cheyenne Alexandria Phillips is a writer, performer and educator from Singapore. She is an Associate Artist with Checkpoint Theatre and was conferred as a Young ASEAN Storyteller in 2022. Her debut play, Playing With Fire, about the people in Singapore’s oil and gas industry, was staged to critical acclaim by Checkpoint Theatre in 2024. Cheyenne’s other writing and performance credits include A Literary Trail of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (2022), Vulnerable (2021), an eight-part podcast by Checkpoint Theatre, and A Grand Design (2020), an audio experience with Checkpoint Theatre.
